mandated by the provincial government, schools are required
to work with staff, teachers, and the community to devise
School Plans that outline goals, objectives, and key indicators
for achieving them. The District's strong leadership has
assisted Schools in the use and interpretation of the
data that supports their school planning processes. As
part of these efforts, the data warehouse is available
to schools as a tool to devise and draft school plans
and to make progress reports.
To support this process, Edudata conducted a detailed
analysis of school plans following their submission
to the District. The analysis entailed the identification
and coding of goals and strategies across plans, including
capturing, implementation, dissemination and sharing.
The purpose of the analysis is to synthesize the strategies
of each school and coordinate resource and data needs
across the district in relationship to those strategies
and performance indicators.
