The purpose of this website is to assist administrators and
researchers to access information regarding BC school districts
expenditures on Instructional costs in a certain time period
for several school programs (e.g., 'Regular instruction salaries',
'Career Program salaries', 'Library Services salaries', and
'Aboriginal Education salaries'). If you would like additional
information on other BC School District Expenditures for functions
other than 'Instruction', such as district and school-based
administration, operations and maintenance, and transportation
and housing, please visit the Edudata Data Catalogue on this
subject.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Using the drop-down menus, select the school district, start
year, and end year for which you would like a BC School District
Expenditure graphical report. Click 'Submit' to view the report.
The Edudata BC School District Expenditures search engine
will produce a graphical report that displays how the 'Regular
Instruction salaries' are distributed by functions. If you
would like to see how salaries are distributed by functions
in other categories such as the 'Career Program salaries',
'Library Services salaries', or 'Aboriginal Education salaries',
please click on the links beside the graphical report.
When selecting school years for a report, remember that the
year 1998 refers to the 1998-1999 school year. In the search
engine, if you select more than one year from the drop-down
menus, make sure the second year is greater than the first
year chosen. For example, if '2000' and '2001' were the years
selected, the first year, '2000' will appear in graphical
form. Above the graph, if you click on the subsequent year
that is listed, in this case '2001', that year will appear
in graphical form. If you have chosen multiple years and you
select the bar graphical form (instead of the pie graph, for
example), all the years selected will appear in the same graph.
