Dr. Victor Glickman is member of the Council of Ministers of Education - Pan Canadian Education Research Advisory Committee (PCERA) and Chairs the British Columbia Ministry of Education/Faculties of Education Research Symposia Committee. Victor is also a member of the Executive Committee of Western Research Network on Education and Training (WRNET) and the Steering Committee of the British Columbia Inter-university Data Research Centre (BCIRDC).

Victor has been responsible for the British Columbia Ministry of Education's strategic research capability, research plan, and priorities. Victor has directed many large-scale operational programs and projects for Statistics Canada, Human Resources Development Canada, and British Columbia ministries.

Debbie Gajdosik,
Data Analyst

Debbie Gajdosik holds a Bachelor of Education in history and English and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Education from the University of Manitoba. She taught high school in Winnipeg , Manitoba for two years, where her students included adult learners and at-risk teenagers. Debbie spent three years living and working in the Czech Republic , where she taught ESL to adults and delved into the world of school administration. Debbie works closely with Edudata's director and data-analyst team on a variety of projects, including administration, communications, editorial support.

Maria Trache,
Research Manager

Dr. Maria Trache has a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics and a broad experience in university teaching and research in theoretical physics. She received an M.A. in Higher Education in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia . Maria is also employed as Statistical Consultant at UBC in the Faculty of Education. She is interested in developing longitudinal databases and research related to schools and post-secondary institutions. Other research interests are in math and science education, transition from higher education into the labour market, international and comparative education, non-traditional post-secondary learners.

Qingmin Wu,
Project Manager

Qingmin Wu has a MBA from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in information technology management. He also holds a Master's Degree in telecommunications and electronics from Beijing Institute of Technology, China, and a B.Sc in information engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He has rich experience in IT project management and data analysis. The projects he is currently working on at Edudata mainly include dynamic data access, search engines, school district data warehouse building, and educational data mapping.
