In cooperation with the Council on Ministers of Education and with Statistics Canada , Edudata has created a Numeric Literacy Data Catalogue.  The Catalogue, available both in French and English, contains data collection instruments that explore numeric literacy across multiple populations and age groups ranging from grade school youth to adults.

The information in the Catalogue is based on the data collection instruments (questionnaires or test questions).  Each question asked has been grouped into a broad Topic and related Theme.  For example, whether or not a questionnaire respondent was male or female has been place in the “Student Characteristics” topic and the “Gender” theme.

If you would like to explore these variables to determine the suitability of the data to inform your research, you can search by topic and theme as mentioned above or alphabetically, by source, by keyword and by the advanced search tool.
