The University Presidents' Council
of British Columbia (TUPC)
University Baccalaureate Graduates Survey
The University Presidents'
Council of British Columbia (TUPC) conducts an annual survey
of baccalaureate graduates of BC's public universities to
identify employment status, occupation, current job earnings,
program satisfaction, further education, education financing,
and skills development.
Occasionally a unique 'special topic' such as computer skills
and use (1997), student services (1997), international education
(2000), and volunteerism (2001) is included in the questionnaire.
Graduates are surveyed two years and five years after graduation.
The first survey was conducted in 1995. Five universities are
currently participating in the project: The University of British
Columbia, Simon Fraser University, University of Victoria, University
of Northern British Columbia, and Royal Roads University.

In 2000, the University Student Outcomes Project (USOP), a TUPC
subcommittee comprised of institutional research officers from
each of the public universities, undertook a survey of Early
Leavers from public university bachelor level programs.
